Buffalo Media Group had the amazing honor of shooting in Belize last spring starting with a Hopkins Bay Resort in Hopkins, Belize. We were coming in from a very long winter in Minnesota where we saw record amounts of snowfall. Suffice to say, Hopkins Bay Resort was everything we imagined and hoped for! From the cultural food experiences of the local Garifuna to their native traditions and music, it was an enlightening experience all around. Of course the fresh, handmade food was out of this world and the staff was the most hospitable. Thanks Hopkins Bay Resort…we will for sure be back!

The last leg of our trip for Buffalo Media Group was our trip over to the Cayo District where we were to stay at Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge. An incredible property that boasts some of the very best sightseeing and wildlife opportunities. Situated in the mountains away from the ocean, this portion of Belize is home to many Mayan ruins, caves for river tubing, hiking, zip-lining, bird watching, and of course culinary goodness! The weather is a bit warmer in the interior but thankfully there is river tubing to beat the heat but what’s best of all is the amazing infinity pool that is new to the property.
